1.4462/ F51 Duplex

Duplex and Superduplex give significant life cycle cost advantages when used in severe and corrosive conditions.
The materials have exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and to stress corrosion cracking and have high strength combined weldability. Duplex and Superduplex can be used for many applications including propeller shafts, seawater oil and gas piping systems on offshore platforms, seawater piping systems in desalination plants, subsea manifolds and flowlines, subsea pipeline systems, topside process systems, subsea umbilicals and submerged components.
